SORTING THINGS OUT
Why send them away from home? When? Who to turn to? Who can help us make decisions? Will we choose the right program? How will we know what suits us? Who will fund it? Where to start? Can we back out…?
These are only some of the questions that pop up in every family’s dilemma, regarding if and when to seek outside residential programs for their loved ones.
In this link to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services’ website (Hebrew and Arabic only), you will find an explanation regarding the process of referral to the different housing programs in Israel.

HOW MUCH DOES THE FAMILY PAY “AMIT”?
There is no financial exchange between the family and the program, we receive payment only directly from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services.
If the potential resident is under 21 years old, the country normally charges the family a partial fee, which is payed through the local authority.
Amit Home Ltd. Does not receive money from the families and all its services are funded fully by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services.
WHAT DO THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS IN AMIT SUPPLY FOR THE RESIDENTS?
